Pickleball in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Myrtle Beach offers free outdoor courts, city recreation-center gyms, and dedicated indoor clubs across the Grand Strand. Midway Park is the closest public outdoor option, while Pepper Geddings and South Strand provide indoor sessions. Pin Point in Little River is the region's established nine-court indoor club.
Where to Play Pickleball in Myrtle Beach
Midway Park
1910 South Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Midway Park has public outdoor pickleball courts with parking, benches, a water fountain, bike rack, and hitting wall. Play is free, and the park's central location near the airport and south-end hotels makes it the simplest outdoor choice for visitors.
Pepper Geddings Recreation Center
3205 North Oak Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Pepper Geddings supports four indoor and four outdoor hard courts with permanent lines and portable nets. City recreation programming provides free play windows, and the center adds restrooms, water, locker rooms, and other fitness amenities.
South Strand Recreation Center
9650 Scipio Lane, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588. South Strand sets up four indoor wood courts with permanent lines and portable nets. It is the best public indoor choice for players staying in Surfside Beach, Socastee, or the southern Grand Strand.
Pin Point Indoor Pickleball and Golf
304 Highway 90 East, Unit A-1, Little River, SC 29566. Pin Point has nine dedicated indoor CushionX courts, open play, court reservations, leagues, tournaments, clinics, private coaching, a restaurant and bar, and golf simulators. It is the most dependable weather-proof facility on the north end.
J. Bryan Floyd Community Center
1030 Possum Trot Road, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. The center has six indoor gym courts, visitor play starting at $2 per day, classes, and organized Pickle Board rotation. Four free outdoor courts with permanent nets sit behind the center at 1400 Outrigger Road.
Pickleball Lessons in Myrtle Beach
North Myrtle Beach offers three-week beginner series for $60 or $25 per class, plus free basic introductions at 3 p.m. on September 15, October 13, and November 17, 2026. Intermediate series cost $80 or $25 per class. PPR-certified instructors Ken Chaney and Darry Del Corro offer private coaching for $70 per hour, with lower per-person rates for groups.

Leagues and Tournaments
Pin Point operates leagues and round-robin tournaments throughout the year on nine indoor courts. J. Bryan Floyd hosts indoor leagues and seasonal events, while Midway and the city centers support casual municipal play.
North Myrtle Beach's late-2026 instruction calendar includes a beginner series September 22, 29, and October 6; an intermediate series October 1, 8, 15, and 22; and another beginner series October 20, 27, and November 3. Visitor Tips
Midway Park is the easiest free court for visitors staying in central Myrtle Beach, but arrive with partners and outdoor balls. Pepper Geddings is better for a mixed indoor-outdoor day, and South Strand serves the south end. On the north end, J. Bryan Floyd offers the lowest-cost indoor entry and Pin Point provides guaranteed dedicated-court quality, coached programs, and food. Summer heat, wind, and afternoon storms make morning outdoor play or an indoor reservation the most reliable plan.
